Airbnb, the world's leading community–driven hospitality company, launches Belong. Here. Now., an interactive installation taking place during Design Miami/, that features a lineup of emerging international talent.

From December 2 - 6 2015, Belong. Here. Now., designed by Chicago–based architects Design with Company, will come alive with interactive experiences hosted by some of the world’s most exciting new creatives. The week’s programming includes both smaller, more intimate moments as well as larger events, giving guests the opportunity to engage and participate in various ways. Visitors can do everything from express desires through a wishing wall to asking questions of the world’s first advanced humanoid robot.

Speaking to this new generation of creatives, Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art, and Joe Gebbia, Co-Founder of Airbnb, will host a conversation about hybridity, how today’s creatives are not confined to one certain medium, but are relevant to many. An architect who curates for and oversees R&D for one of the world's foremost modern art institution, a designer leading one of the fastest growing hospitality brands; in today’s world, creative people do not belong in any one category, but are forming their own. This hybridity, the mixing of mediums and disciplines, ultimately creates a stronger creative culture that can address the global conversation from politics to innovation, and beyond.

Further, Kim Hastreiter, along with Thomas Lauderdale and China Forbes from Pink Martini, will entertain guests with a fun and interactive performance. Yinka Ilori, a furniture artist who upcycles chairs, will invite guests to learn about his Nigerian heritage through parables and then create their own, all while interacting with him during his creative process. The hosted moments at Belong. Here. Now. Will vary throughout the week, but each one will invite guests to actively engage and participate during their visit.
