Known for her thoughtful and interdisciplinary work using photography, film and installation, Barrada will be in conversation with renowned curator Anushka Rajendran about Redefining ‘Social Sculpture’ — a term that speaks to her deep interest in community, education and collective memory.

This marks Barrada’s first visit to India, as she researches local materials for a new body of work — set to be exhibited in Durbar Hall Art Gallery, Kochi, in October 2025. She will also represent France at the 61st Venice Biennale in 2026, so you’ll be getting a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into her practice.
