Enter Art Fair is Scandinavia’s largest international art fair and a nexus of creative and commercial exchanges. The annual four-day event takes place in Copenhagen and brings the best of contemporary art to discover and acquire from 88 of the world’s leading galleries and their artists.

Founded in 2019 by Julie Leopold Alf, the fair is organized by a strong team of experts that connects the excellence of its partners with its international audience. The multidisciplinary arts, events and VIP program is known for its innovative approach and uncompromising quality. A dedicated online platform provides art enthusiasts, forward-thinking professionals and institutions with news all year around. The fair is a progressive space for artistic expression, supporter of new technology and a catalyst for the Danish, Scandinavian and international arts industry.

The 2023 edition marks Enter Art Fair’s fifth year anniversary and will bring the international art world together in a specially-curated celebration from 24 - 27 August. The fair has within five years doubled in size and visitor numbers, and will for its anniversary edition welcome more than 20.000 international visitors at its new venue Lokomotivværkstedet. The expanded indoor and outdoor art spaces will give an authentic experience of the most exciting established and emerging artists working in contemporary art today.

“We connect art lovers with the most visionary galleries and artists during our annual event in Copenhagen and on our online platform throughout the year. Whether you are an established collector, dealer or buying your first artwork, you will be able to bring a unique piece of art with you home. We are proud to collaborate with the industry’s key players, and together forge a meaningful path for the international art world.”

Julie Leopold Alf, Founder and CEO

NEW LOCATIONThe anniversary edition of Enter Art Fair will take place at Lokomotivværkstedet which is one of Copenhagen’s most vibrant cultural event spaces. The 10,000 m2 historic venue was formerly used for maintenance of the Danish locomotives, and is known for its industrial architecture and iconic green colour. Lokomotivværkstedet is located close to the trendy Meatpacking District and sustainable gastronomic hub Banegaarden.

88 INTERNATIONAL GALLERIES + YOUNG SECTIONThe 2023 edition will bring together 88 of the world's leading galleries from 22 countries and 36 cities. Enter Art Fair’s curatorial committee has carefully selected the galleries based on international standards to ensure the highest quality and diverse representation across all disciplines including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, glass, NFT’s, video and more. To support emerging art, a dedicated Young Section will showcase 18 galleries that are five years and younger.

LIVE ART PROGRAMCurated by Irene Campolmi since its inception in 2019, the Art Program champions artistic expression and emerging artists. The 2023 edition will include specially commissioned installations, performances and talks that are accessible to the public free of charge. The Art Program is generously supported by the Danish Art Foundation, Augustinus Fonden and Beckett Foundation.
