Brooklyn,  New  York  -  November  7,  2014  -  Art  Market  Productions  is  pleased  to  announce  art   on  paper,  an  art  fair  from  the  producers  of  Miami  Project,  launching  in  March,  2015  on   Manhattan’s  vibrant  Tribeca  waterfront.  art  on  paper’s  70  exhibiting  galleries  will  feature  work   by  artists  who  look  to  paper  as  a  major  influence  in  their  sculpture,  drawing,  painting,  and   photography.  art  on  paper  will  be  a  new  kind  of  art  fair  -  a  focused  fair  offering  a  medium  as  a   conversational  catalyst.

art  on  paper  is  thrilled  to  be  working  alongside  the  Hudson  River  Park  Trust,  the  designer,   developer,  and  steward  of  the  Hudson  River  Park.  The  Trust’s  generous  support  of  art  on   paper  continues  the  Park’s  long  term  commitment  to  the  dynamic  presentation  of  public  art.   Since  its  development,  the  Hudson  River  Park  has  been  host  to  contemporary  sculpture  and   site-based  installation  set  against  the  dramatic  backdrop  of  the  water’s  edge.  art  on  paper   will  be  an  extension  of  this  artistic  patronage,  working  in  concert  with  the  Trust  to  bring  an   innovative  presentation  of  the  best  in  paper-based  art  to  downtown  Manhattan.

art  on  paper’s  exciting  partnership  with  the  Brooklyn  Museum  will  further  the  fair’s  integration   into  New  York  City’s  art  community.  With  a  Williamsburg-based  staff  and  a  strong  history  of   collaboration  with  artists  currently  living  and  working  in  Brooklyn,  art  on  paper  is  excited  to  be   working  in  concert  with  the  institution  that  sits  at  the  heart  of  one  of  the  most  diverse  and   creative  urban  centers  in  the  world.  art  on  paper’s  VIP  Preview  will  benefit  the  Brooklyn   Museum’s  artistic  and  educational  programming,  and  offer  exciting  opportunities  for  the   Museum’s  community  of  supporters  and  art  on  paper’s  exhibitors  and  visitors.

art  on  paper’s  Artistic  Director,  Sasha  Wolf,  and  the  fair’s  selection  committee  will  work  with   Director  Max  Fishko  to  curate  a  concise  and  elegant  exhibition  of  engaging  paper-based  work   presented  by  dealers  from  around  the  world.  With  our  exciting  venue  and  the  support  of  our   amazing  cultural  partners,  we  look  forward  to  welcoming  New  York  to  Pier  26.

About  Hudson  River  ParkHudson  River  Park,  which  extends  from  Chambers  Street  to  59th  street  along  Manhattan’s   west  side,  is  the  longest  waterfront  park  in  the  United  States.  This  free,  urban  recreational

oasis  is  home  to  award-winning  skate  parks,  playgrounds,  sports  fields,  gardens  and  nature   exhibits,  boating  and  maritime  activities,  art  installations,  and  myriad  year-round  events  that   celebrate  the  diverse  cultures  and  neighborhoods  along  its  shores.  The  Park  plays  a  critical   role  in  protecting  the  Hudson  River  ecosystem,  and  though  it  receives  no  public  operating   funds  from  city,  state  or  federal  government,  its  development  has  transformed  four  miles  of   decaying  piers  and  parking  lots  into  a  premier  New  York  City  destination  for  local  residents   and  visitors  alike.  The  non-profit,  Friends  of  Hudson  River  Park  helps  to  ensure  ongoing   sustainability  by  serving  as  the  Park’s  primary  source  of  fundraising,  advocacy  and  support,   working  in  concert  with  the  Hudson  River  Park  Trust,  the  city-state  entity  that  oversees  the   design,  construction  and  operation  of  the  Park.  For  more  information,  please  visit   hudsonriverpark.org.  Follow  us  on  Twitter  and  Instagram:  @HudsonRiverPark,  and  like  us  on   Facebook  at:  www.facebook.com/  HudsonRiverPark.
