Agora Gallery is pleased to announce The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition, a juried exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and photographs in a wide range of styles and media. This is the 37th edition of our annual fine arts competition exhibition, which provides a select group of artists with the opportunity to showcase their work in the heart of Chelsea, New York’s very own art district. The winners were handpicked among hundreds of international and local applicants by an esteemed panel of jurors. The judging committee is comprised of Julie Reiss, art historian, editor, and former educator at Christie’s Education’s MA program; and Angel Bellaran, curator, visual activist, and academic teaching at the non-profits organization Studio Montclair and former director of the School of Visual Arts’ MA in Curatorial Practice. The exhibition will run from August 22 to August 29, 2023 with an opening reception on Thursday, August 24, 6-8 PM.
