Luxury residences presents a coveted collection of sculptures from acclaimed masters of abstract expressionism in celebration of Miami Art WeekMiami Beach, FL - November 24th, 2021: Continuum, South Floridas premier resort-style oceanfront condominium residences located in Miami Beach, has partnered with one of the worlds leading galleries to present a hand-picked collection of sculptures by todays leading international artists to commemorate the art worlds most celebrated week of visual innovation.
The Continuum has formed an exclusive residential collaboration with the world-renowned Opera Gallery to present a temporary exhibit of eight sculptures by individual contemporary masters from across the globe, bestowing the latest in abstract expressionism in its truest form within the grounds of the property. Four artists, represented by Opera Gallery in Miami, have chosen their finest work that has recently been installed within the garden grounds of the Continuum, as well as in the Grand Lobby of the North Tower, for residents to enjoy and admire as potential pieces available to purchase for their own private collection.

The collection of installations at the Continuum includes a creation in painted bronze by Pablo Atchugarry, entitled Sans Titre, 2014; an exquisite stainless steel multi-dimensional illuminated object made from specialized glass with LED lights by Anthony James, entitled 50 Icosahedron, 2019; and a male figure in uniform, comprised of stainless steel discs and a color coated base by Valay Shende, entitled Watchman. Mixed media artist and sculpture, Manolo Valdes from Spain, presents five pieces of work, including a giant butterfly made with bronze and gold patina, entitled Triple Butterfly; a colorful abstract piece made from wood, resin and iron, entitled Cabeza Azul con Resina Roja, 2018; an additional abstract metallic piece depicting a group of multiple butterflies, made with aluminum, entitled Selene, 2020; a carefully crafted figure of a angelic-like woman, carved out of resin, entitled White Infanta Margarita, and a large outdoor sculpture shaped with strands of spiraling aluminum, entitled Ivy. Opera Gallery has locations in Paris, Singapore, New York, Miami, Miami Beach, Aspen, London, Monaco, Geneva, Dubai, Beirut, Hong Kong and Seoul, and present work across all media including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, photography and video. The gallery seeks to cultivate the lineages that run between emerging and established artists. The exhibit presented by Opera Gallery will be at the Continuum in Miami Beach until December 15th, and each piece in the collection is priced individually.
