RESONANCE is Leunora Salihu's reaction to the architecture of the station and was created especially for the central train station in Kassel. Her sculpture interacts with the function of the space as a place of encounter, exchange, and pause, with the symbolic buffer acting as an object of simultaneous attraction and distancing. The sculpture invites us to be inspired by a sensual art experience and to make fundamental reflections on our orientation in the world.

“With the artwork RESONANCE by Leunora Salihu, there is a good reason to visit the main station even if you are not planning to travel. The artist has developed a language that combines lightness, constructive rigor, and sensual forms. Salihu's works are represented in renowned collections worldwide and can now also be experienced at Kassel Central Station,” explains Prof. Walter Smerling, curator of "Station to Station" and Chairman of the Foundation for Art and Culture.
