On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the massacre, on view at the Uffizi are the canvases damaged by the bomb: two works by the Caravaggesque painter Bartolomeo Manfredi.
The exhibition is open from 26 May to 28 July 2024, on the ground floor of the Gallery, in a large room located at the beginning of the museum itinerary. Alongside, the projection of a video with the testimonies of the firefighters who provided first aid, and of the museum staff that on the very night of the attack hastened to limit the damages caused by the explosion.
On the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the mafia bombing in Via dei Georgofili, two canvases by the Caravaggesque painter Bartolomeo Manfredi, which were damaged by the blast, are put on display.
