Following her first major European retrospective last year at MACBA, Barcelona, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac is pleased to announce the first solo exhibition of American Minimalist artist Rosemarie Castoro (1939-2015) at its Paris Marais gallery. One of the few women associated with Minimalism, Castoro was a central figure of the New York art scene in the 1960s and 1970s. The exhibition encompasses all aspects of her multi-faceted practice, where painting, sculpture, drawing, language and performance interrelate in a highly personal and pioneering way.
